I used to have abs of steel. I still remember them. They were beautiful. I loved them.
Then along came my pregnancy. I maintained my active lifestyle and only gained 25 pounds until the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy. It seemed as though those apple pies and other sweets decided to show up on my body all at once and I gained 35 pounds. YIKES!
With the sleepless nights, the feedings every 2 hours and the crying baby my brain could barely function never mind making it outside for some physical activity. The baby weight has remained for the past 4 years and it’s got to go. I want my abs of steel back. I’m building up my core with pilates and I’ve incorporated L-Jay’s killer ab workout into my routine and I’m on the road to recovery. I’m already seeing results and it’s only been a week.
Before I begin my ab workout I sing them this mantra:
We were beautiful once, when we were 8.
We’ll be reunited again, it’s never to late.
